There are numerous recreational opportunities in Osceola. Our Parks & Recreation Department sponsors many different sports in our town. Our high school football team provides us with many memorable moments as in 1995 when they won the AAA State Championship

State Parks
Lake Poinsett State Park
Situated among the scenic rolling hills atop Crowley's Ridge in northeastern Arkansas is Lake Poinsett. This 640-acre impoundment was constructed in 1960 by the Arkansas Game & Fish Commission to provide fishing recreation.
