There are numerous recreational opportunities in Osceola. Our Parks & Recreation Department sponsors many different sports in our town. Summer and fall sport opportunities are available for ages 5 years and up. Our high school football team provides us with many memorable moments as in 1995 when they won the AAA State Championship.
The Mississippi County Arts Council strives to bring cultural opportunities to our fair city. The week after Thanksgiving, our town comes to life with the Winter Festival and the lighting of the historic County Court House.
Osceola is a sportman's dream. It is located near some of the most plentiful lakes, streams, and rivers in all of Arkansas. Hunting is plentiful in the St. Francis Wildlife Management Area.
