A chemical analysis of the city water is available. Future expansion of capacity will be determined by population growth and needs of new or expanding industries.

The landfill handles only non-hazardous waste and can be expanded if future demands warrant it.

Entergy Arkansas is the source of energy and there are two feeds into the city. The Osecola Municipal Light & Power Company has the ability to negotiate and "wheel in" power from other suppliers.

A recent survey indicated that commerical electrical rates in Osceola were the second lowest in a five-state region. Additionally, infrastructure needs and phased-in discounts for new industries are provided baded on prospects' level of new job creation in the community.
