The $1.5 million Municipal Recreation Center, featuring indoor basketball and racquetball courts, an exercise room, an indoor jogging track, a padded aerobics room, a gameroom, and male and female locker rooms opened in August 1996 and already has over 1,000 members.
Osceola has three public parks, a public swimming pool, and five tennis courts. It also has a four-field Municipal Softball Complex which is used for industrial leagues and area competitions.
The Osceola Parks & Recreation Department sponsors an active slate of recreational events including:

Osceola Municipal Golf Course
This is a challenging nine hole golf course. Osceola also owns land for the future development of an additional nine holes. There is a club pro on dutyand there are many golf tournaments throughout the season.
Golf Membership - $50.00 monthly fee. $15.00 Shed rental.
Other Activities
Other youth activities available are Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Cub Scouts, Brownies, Boys' Club, FHA Program, 4-H Club, and private dancing and music lessons.
Osceola High School fields teams in football, basketball, and track which draw many sports fans throughout the school year. The Osceola High School Seminoles won the AAA State Football Championship in 1995.
