On Friday, December 11, 2009, Osceola will hold its annual Winter Festival.  This event will feature live music, a kiddie carnival, celebrity guests, and several food merchants.  The highlight of the Winter Festival will be the Parade which is the finest in Northeast Arkansas.  The parade will follow the lighting of the Christmas tree on the grounds of the historic County Courthouse.  Buildings in the central business district will also be decorated with lights during the holiday season.  Enjoy hot apple cider while admiring a Winter Wonderland and beautiful displays by community residents and businesses.
