“Barbara Bailey Hutchison Sings”
Grammy award winning singer songwriter
She has appeared at the White House twice, performed in nearly all 50 states, toured Japan, Korea, the Philippines, and recently returned from Thailand where she participated in a benefit concert for children orphaned by AIDS. Winner of the 1996 Grammy Award for “Best Musical Recording for Children,” Barbara delights all ages. The wit and wisdom in her music is not easily matched. Her music defies categorization. Her lyric driven, melodic, often humorous, alternative folk speaks to issues of tolerance and human rights, as well as personal relationships and funny circumstances.

“A Tuna Christmas”
Staged by Springer Theatricals on National Tour
In “A Tuna Christmas”, it’s December in Tuna, Texas and slow-talking radio jocks Thurston Wheelis and Arles Struvie report on all the yuletide activities including the annual Christmas yard-display contest which is plagued by a vandal known only as the Christmas Phantom. Of course, juvenile delinquent Stanley Bumiller is suspected, but his eccentric Aunt Pearle Burress knows better. Be sure to meet all of the friendly, yet funny, folds of Tuna as they are brought to life by a cast of two actors playing multiple parts. The production is by our friends with Springer Theatricals who brought us “Some Enchanted Evening” and “The Taffetas”.
